Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum embraces the developmental philosophy of learning that aims to impart knowledge through play and hands-on experiences. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage programme, which is considered an excellent foundation for Early Learning. The EYFS framework aims to provide a curriculum full of activities, themes, and real-life experiences that motivate children, providing a solid base for their future learning and holistic development.
Our curriculum engages young children from Nursery to FS2 in a learning programme that works on broad themes throughout the year, following the children’s interests while ensuring that each child makes progress based on their individual learning needs according to their pace.

Our child- centered curriculum focuses on these seven areas of development:

  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development.
  • Communication and Language.
  • Physical Development.
  • Literacy Development.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Understanding the World.
  • Expressive Arts and Design.

Assessment

  • Assessment plays a crucial part in an educational curriculum. Our formative assessment schedule caters to the areas of struggle and corresponds with the student accordingly. The types of assessment include:
    • Timed observations of individual children to track their movements around the learning environment, periods for which they remain at activities, and peers with whom they interact.
    • Planned observations in which children will work in groups or with a teacher and have their learning assessed against a set of criteria.
    • Informal observations when working independently, a child may link their learning or a comment to someone who gives insight into their understanding.
